Since its founding in 2007, APT AblePrint Technology from Taiwan has been pursuing the goal of eliminating “voids” by using pressure ovens. The original developed VFS (VoidFreeSystem) was replaced by a modern VTS (VoidTerminationSystem). Compared to the VFS system, voids are completely eliminated with the VTS process. This is done by variations of pressure and temperature, as well as optimized process parameters, during the curing process.
This process can reduce the process time of the previously time-consuming dispensing process to a tenth. This increases the throughput (UPH) of the production line and contributes significantly to the cost reduction.
The dispensing time was measured with a package size of 33 x 25mm. The dispensing time was reduced from almost 540 seconds to less than 50 seconds. After the VTS process all voids were eliminated.
To fully utilize the benefits of the VTS process, APT developed the PRMS (ProductRiskManagingSystem). The system monitors and stores the status of all process parameters throughout the process. As soon as the system detects a parameter deviation, the software intervenes autonomously and informs the operator to take the necessary corrective actions. This ensures a highest level of product quality and operator safety.
More than 1000 installed systems worldwide represent the quality and reliability of AblePrint Technology products.
The company nanotec international GmbH from Munich distributes and offers service / support for the APT products in Europe.
